Product Manager

Menlo Park, CA

Who You Are

You have prior product management experience and are excited to partner with Quantifind’s exceptional software engineers and data scientists in a fast-paced development environment. You have the mindset and the skillset of a data analyst with a minor in machine learning and are looking for an opportunity that will challenge your technical skills as much as your interpersonal and problem-solving skills. You are collaborative by nature and have achieved success as a team player. You are looking for an opportunity to put your mark on a product or solution as it is being built. You feel strongly about being mission-driven in your work. Above all else, you are innately curious and highly self-motivated.

Who We Are

Quantifind helps some of the world’s biggest banks catch money laundering and fraud. Quantifind also works with government agencies, using the same platform, to uncover criminal networks and combat election tampering. Unlike other players in this space, Quantifind delivers results as software-as-a-service (SaaS) with consumer-grade user experiences.

Quantifind is a data science technology company whose AI platform uncovers signals of risk across disparate and unstructured text sources. In financial crimes risk management, Quantifind’s solution uniquely combines internal financial institution data with public domain data to assess risk in the context of Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Fraud Risk Management, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes. Today these compliance processes are burdened by ever-increasing regulatory responsibilities and an expectation of frictionless transactions. Legacy technologies demand increasingly more human resources as the operations expand; Quantifind’s solution offers a way to cut through the inefficiency and enhance effectiveness simultaneously.

To help you succeed, we provide a supportive environment that fosters collaboration between teams and team members, where learning and professional growth are considered a key part of your success, and of ours. We offer a flexible work environment with a family friendly work-life balance.

What a Great Candidate Looks Like:

  • You hold a BS or MS in computer science, statistics, or engineering and have 2+ years of product management experience (APM/PM or Product Analyst)
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have experience and the requisite skills to translate between business and technical stakeholders
  • You have experience working with relational databases and are a capable programmer (R or Python)
  • You have meaningful experience with Data Science and Machine Learning
  • You are conversant in the agile software development process
  • You are inspired and passionate in your vision but sufficiently pragmatic to make progress toward your goals
  • You are a natural leader who inspires your teammates to achieve great things
  • You are eager to evolve and face new challenges

The Opportunity We Offer

In this role you will become a key member of a close-knit team with responsibility to guide both the strategic and tactical roadmap for our engineering team. You will play a key role in assessing the performance of our algorithms and the quality of our data, as well as operating as a Full-Stack Product Manager. At Quantifind, our stack includes back-end services & infrastructure, front-end web applications, as well as machine learning methods & modules. You will work closely with the Senior Vice Presidents of Product and Engineering as well as other Product Managers.

In your daily interactions with our development team, you will have the opportunity and responsibility to incorporate your vision in the product concepts we create together.  You will become a leader at the company as we continue to expand both our financial services and government business. You will have as much client exposure as you desire with the opportunity to gather direct user feedback on the products you build.

Quantifind is operating fully remote for the foreseeable future, but we envision an eventual return to work that includes regular in-person touchpoints and shared office space. When this time comes, a Silicon Valley home base will help facilitate interactions with our Silicon Valley-based development team.

We are an equal opportunity employer; we have a fun place to work and a devotion to succeeding together.
